Is a digital wedding card acceptable in Nepal?

Yes. More Nepali families now send a digital wedding card on WhatsApp or Viber, often next to a few printed cards for elders. Guests like having the date, the venue and a map on their phone, and relatives abroad can open it anywhere. It saves printing and delivery, and you can change details at any time.

What goes in a Nepali wedding invitation?

A Nepali wedding invitation names the bride and groom and their parents, gives the date in Bikram Sambat and AD, and lists each ceremony with its time and venue: often mehendi, haldi, janti, the wedding and the reception or bhoj. Many add a short blessing, a contact number and a map. Nimtto holds all of it in one link.

Questions

Good to know.

How do I invite guests who live abroad?

Send them the same link. It opens on any phone or computer in the world, with no app, and shows each time in Nepal time beside the date. Relatives abroad can reply on the invitation, and you see their answers in your dashboard with everyone else’s.

Can I add Devanagari text?

Yes. Every invitation works in English and Nepali, and guests switch between them with one tap. Names, blessings and ceremony names can be written in Devanagari, and the date shows in Bikram Sambat beside the AD date.

Can I still print a card?

Yes. Many families send printed cards to a few elders and the online link to everyone else. Nimtto makes the online invitation; your local press can print matching cards if you show them your design.

How much does a wedding card online cost in Nepal?

Plans are paid once: Rs 2,999, Rs 4,999 or Rs 6,999, depending on the design and extras. A design made only for you starts at Rs 11,111. Pay by Khalti, eSewa, bank QR, or PayPal from abroad. There is no monthly fee.
